This course teaches basic components of nutrition, and breaks down information on topics such as macronutrients and the science of fat loss and muscle gain to help clients gain a better understanding. Clients can apply the information taught in the modules to their current lifestyles and if they require more individualized support can book a 1:1 appointment with Shannon, the Registered Dietitian. These modules are a tool to help learn and prioritize healthy habits that can be done consistently for clients to live an overall healthier and happier life.

  • This course does not promote any sort of “diet”. It teaches women how to develop a balanced lifestyle when it comes to the intake of food. It provides individual lessons on each of the macronutrients, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, in addition to vitamins and minerals, the micronutrients.

  • No, Nourish 101 does not provide in depth information for clients to learn how to count calories or macros. However, it does provide short, individual modules on each of the macronutrients, as well as information on Basal Metabolic Rates and Total Daily Energy Expenditure which should provide clients with a better understanding. Nourish 101 is less about counting calories, and more about balance and developing healthy and sustainable habits that will stick long-term.

As a Registered Dietitian, my mission is to help women understand how to eat nutrient-rich foods that fuel our bodies effectively. My goal is to empower you to look and feel healthy and confident—both mentally, in your relationship with food, and physically, in your body.

I’m uniquely equipped to guide you on your nutrition journey because I’ve walked that path myself. I’ve faced years of personal challenges, including navigating fat loss, muscle gain, orthorexia, binge eating, and fueling for athletic performance. I once struggled with constant food noise and body dissatisfaction, but everything changed when I learned how to properly fuel my body and mind for strength and health.

In my private practice, I specialize in helping women strike a healthy balance between their relationship with food and their body goals. Whether you want to lose body fat, build muscle, or maintain a positive mindset around eating, I focus on guiding my clients to nourish themselves with whole foods and build sustainable, health-promoting habits that last.
